BACH has partnered with over 10 community organizations in Dorchester to host Speak Up!: A 2-day cross-neighborhood conversation on community health in North Dorchester. Join us on March 6th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Viet Aid to hear about current community health data and listen to a resident panel. Then on March 8th from 10 am to 1 pm at Grove Hall Library come brainstorm ideas on how we can improve our community’s health.
This is the first event for the newly formed coalition. The goal is to improve the coordination of systems that focus on key issues: mental health, sexual health, domestic violence and community violence as a way to build community resilience and quality of life.
Planning Partners include: Viet Aid, CVC Unido, SMILE Linkage to Care Program, Bowdoin Street Health Center, Boston Alliance for Community Health, Upham’s Corner Health Center, Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative, Connect2Protect Boston, Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts, Project R.I.G.H.T.
