True health equity is achieved when every person, regardless of their socio-economic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other status, has the opportunity to achieve their full health potential and the highest quality of life appropriate for each stage of life.

Steering Committee

BACH is governed by a 21-member Steering Committee whose members are dedicated and experienced community and professional volunteers. They are responsible for guiding BACH through participatory decision making on important strategies and policy advocacy issues that lead to improved health among Boston’s residents. They are advised by the BACH Director and a representative from MDPH.
