CHEC: Conflict Transformation

Conflict is inevitable and communication is essential.

Come join the Community Health Education Center on Thursday, October 16th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Health Workers’ Monthly Networking Forum on “Conflict Transformation”

This is a place where you can:

  • Get plenty of resources for yourself and  your clients
  • Network with others
  • Explore your clients’ and your own habitual reactions in conflict
  • Bring a personal or professional conflict scenario for hands-on practice
  • Learn conflict transformation strategies from the Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP) utilized in prisons, schools, and communities
  • Learn de-escalation techniques from the Non-Violent Peace Force
