Come join the Community Health Education Center on Thursday, October 16th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Health Workers’ Monthly Networking Forum on “Conflict Transformation”
This is a place where you can:
- Get plenty of resources for yourself and your clients
- Network with others
- Explore your clients’ and your own habitual reactions in conflict
- Bring a personal or professional conflict scenario for hands-on practice
- Learn conflict transformation strategies from the Alternatives to Violence Program (AVP) utilized in prisons, schools, and communities
- Learn de-escalation techniques from the Non-Violent Peace Force
